The film premiered at the Big Sky Documentary Film Festival in 2020. During its festival run, Feather and Pine was awarded the jury award for Best Documentary Feature at the Mammoth Lakes Film Festival and Best Cinematography - Documentary at the Tulsa American Film Festival.
"Feather and Pine takes on the enigmatic subject of the logging industry – enigmatic because the recession and the industry’s passing left residents in a small town at loose ends. Heartbreaking in an unusual sense, it evokes a quintessential longing for what might best be described as “an American Way of Life."
